History

Our math circle began back in the mid 90's when the founder's oldest child was interested in math. She started with a very small math group which met in the back of Better Way Bookstore in Stockbridge, GA, for two years, using MOEMS contests. In 2001, a friend asked her to help his son by offering the AMC exams, the national math exam for high school students, and we have had a math circle continuously ever since. During the pandemic, the meeting place has changed from the library to cyberspace, but we continue to have a meeting of our minds!

Past students have attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, University of Georgia, U of Alabama- Huntsville, USAF Academy, Agnes Scott, Baylor, Bryn Mawr, Curtis, Grove City, Ave Maria, Bob Jones, Covenant, Kennesaw, Mercer, Wesleyan, and many, many others.
